Isn't it on the RH distro?
What gcc are you using?
Are you building for 64 bit? (can your compiler, linker and such?)
I give you best changes with source from an other (main stream) RedHat
distro that is relatively close with respect of library and compiler
versions. (say RedHat 7.3 or Redhat 8). Those source packages are best
prepared for the RedHat environment.
