It's pretty straightforward, change the port for the server 
to whatever you want, and then in the client, when you are 
connecting, type in the machine you want to connect to and 
then a colon (:) followed by the port #. it would look like 
this: example:5901 if you are connecting to server example 
on port 5901. If you're using tight vnc you need to type two 
colons.
