multicast vcn not as fast

i tried multicast vnc on my lan . it takes 4 sec to show the whole screen. 
is there any mistake in my procedure. plz guide me.

whole lan is linux based. except one machine running with windows.

step1. starting vnc 3.3.6 on windows machine.
step2. then starting Proxy for Multicast vnc on one of the machine in lan 
using command.

java vncviewer HOST 192.168.4.200(ip of windows machine) PORT 5900 MULTICAST 
230.0.0.1:3333/16  PROXYPORT 6666

setp3. starting vnc viewer for clients
java vncviewer HOST 192.168.4.200 PORT 6666


it works. but not fast.one more thing, the time taken by simple vnc(not 
Multicasted) to get the screen shots is also 4 sec then whats the difference 
b/w simple vnc and Multicast vnc. remeber this time calculation is for 
Microsoft Power Point slides .

plz tell me how can i make it fast.
