ICS or Internet Connection Sharing is when xp allows the sharing of a modem
through the network for internet access.
Each user that shares this modem is assigned a hub and a port number. When
you rest your pointer over the vnc server icon on a shared workstation you
get an internal ip address. When you rest your pointer over the XP machine
that is sharing the modem through ICS you see both the internal and external
ip numbers. I.e. 192.168.0.1,67.xxx.xx.xx. How do I use Vnc to connect
through this setup?? http or through the VNC software?
Any help you give will get you a little closer to that generous and
wonderful person you have always hoped to be!!!
Thanks for your time.
