Ctrl-\ with german keyboard

Hello everybody,

I use the Windows VNC viewer to control a solaris machine. Everything works
fine in the mean time, only the special keyboard combination ctrl-\ (used to
kill programs in a terminal, if ctrl-c doesn't work) is not working. The
reason is IMHO my german keyboard, which requires to press 'Ctrl-AltGR-?' to
get ctrl-\. Vnc just writes '\' and "forgets" the ctrl.

Does anybody have a solution for this?

PS: The menu item 'ctrl down' is also not working for this case, since its
effect is stopped after pressing AltGr.
