The VNC Server service terminated unexpectedly

First off, let me introduce myself to this list. I have been using VNC
since version 3.3.3r9. I have recently rolled out 3.3.7 in my environment
and all has been well for that past few weeks. However, yesterday, I
started receiving the following error on a Windows 2000 Server (SP3):

-----BEGIN LOG EXAMPLE-----

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7031
Date: 4/2/2003
Time: 10:40:39 AM
User: N/A
Computer: <SNIP>
Description:
The VNC Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 3 time(s).
The following corrective action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: No action.

-----END LOG EXAMPLE-----

This seems to happen right when I send my VNC password to the server. I
must then restart the VNC Server service. Sometimes it will take more than
two attempts to be able to use VNC on this machine again.

I have reinstalled the complete VNC 3.3.7 package and the same thing still
occurs.

Any help would be well-appreciated.
