VNC and running on an HPUX 11.0 nbox

[Berg, Rick (GEAE)]

I am getting this error message wile running a X application using VNC:
 
X Error of failed request:  BadAccess (attempt to access private resource
denied)
  Major opcode of failed request:  89 (X_StoreColors)
  Serial number of failed request:  99
  Current serial number in output stream:  114
 
This application works fine on the native console and using eXceed.
 
The VNC server (version 3.3.3r1) is runing on a HPUX 11.0 box, and the client
(version 3.3.4) is on a Win2K.
 
How do I fix this problem?
