I think it is more of a "works for me" case.  I haven't had any issues
getting the function keys to work in Windows 2k Pro, WinNT, or WinXP.  I do
have to remember that Alt-F4 changes virtual desktops on my Linux machine
instead of closing remote Window, but that is the WindowManager, not VNC.
