If you use ssh, then security is an issue.

If security is an issue, you better not use the java viewer... you should
not give tools to the hackers...

Best frist get the binary viewer operational. You need to have that
operational for the java viewer.

Then you can supply the java viewer (if you need to) with any other
webserver. Fetch the java files from any unix-vnc distro. See the *.vnc
files in their for examples on how to configure the webpage to supply the
java viewer. See your webserver config for how to put the viewer-pages
trough ssh.
