3.3.5 Problems starting server on Sun

Wild guess, your machine is named u60pks91...
For SunOS, I think on 2 problems: one is the X11 lock in /tmp/.... Since the
version 3.3.3 runs, that should not be the problem. That leaves only 1
general problem: Version 3.3.5 is rated at a higher SunOS version than the
3.3.3 version. What version of SunOS are you running? `uname -a` will show
it to you. Check that with the info with the new release.

If this works with the previous vnc version, it should still work.

Do you use Solaris 2.5 (or upwards?) (and do you use it on sparc hardware?)

Where there no other changes? What if you run vncserver ( or Xvnc) as user
"root"? If that works, then I guess the X11 lock problem was solved by
making Xvnc running as setuid root. (`chown root /path/to/Xvnc; chmod u+s
