I seem to have lost some of the messages in this thread, so sorry if im repeating something. Ive found that vnc displays most if not all fonts differently. I assume this is something to do with the fonts available to the server. Possibly something to do with compatibility because its a cross platform app. And arent xmms fonts actually bitmap images? good luck.
