Looks like an idea I have for some time (but no time to find the details,
thanks). I'm thinking of making it a little more selective: try ot get
vncviewer in the window-manager-selection-list of the display manager. Then
you can decide if you want to use the already running vncsession or start a
new one.
On the other hand, if the console is used by the user or not at all, then
the http://xf4vnc.sourceforge.net/ gives an excellerated vnc-server!
