If you're running a recent version of TightVNC, there's a setting for
'enableHTTPD' that you can turn off.

Subject: Disable Web Server

Hi,

Does anyone know how to disable the web server in VNC so that no one can
connect to my machine using a Java enabled web browser?

Thanks
