hi,
I am having trouble starting the vncserver on a redhat 6.1 machine. The
following is from my log file:

22/03/02 11:08:48 Xvnc version 3.3.3r2
22/03/02 11:08:48 Copyright (C) AT&T Laboratories Cambridge.
22/03/02 11:08:48 All Rights Reserved.
22/03/02 11:08:48 See http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc for information
on VNC
22/03/02 11:08:48 Desktop name 'X' (vcm.com:1)
22/03/02 11:08:48 Protocol version supported 3.3
22/03/02 11:08:48 Listening for VNC connections on TCP port 5901
22/03/02 11:08:48 Listening for HTTP connections on TCP port 5801
22/03/02 11:08:48 URL http://vcm.com:5801
AUDIT: Fri Mar 22 11:08:52 2002: 21864 Xvnc: client 1 rejected from local
host
Xlib: connection to ":1.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to Server
xrdb: Can't open display ':1'

I also got the source code and recompiled and saw nothing unusual. But the
remake gives the same errors. Can anyone point to a direction? I have
third party software on the 6.1 machine, at this moment upgrading to 7.x
is out of question. Appreciate all helps.
