VNC through port 80? - having problems

I cheated, Steve.  This exact conversation happened in an exchange in this
list about 6 weeks ago, and I skipped to the "copy-paste" thing in my post
yesterday  about this...

BTW, what's the trick to coming up with 4294961476 and 4294961417?

: Are you running something else (FTP serving software?) on port 21?  If so,
: that's the message you would get.  You won't be able to do that in the web
: browser though.  Since port 21 isn't working, try port 23 (telnet) with
