I don't have a Netgear handy to check back on right now, but I've had no
problems at all with using it through a 314,324,or 338.

And - I could be wrong, I can't place the reference right now - but I don't
believe VNC uses UDP at all.

Subject: VNC through Netgear RT314

: I have a client witha NetGear RT314 and I'd like to use VNC through it.
I've
: configured other clients through different routers/firewalls to make a
: connection with no problem. Unfortunately, the RT314 doesn't have a
facility
: to forward UDP ports, only TCP ports. I know that VNC requires both UDP
and
: TCP ports to function. Has anyone been able to get through an RT314?
:
: Thanks,
: Sam
