workstation locking up..

Hi,
  I have VNC server on two workstations, and occasionally they lock up. When
I am on the viewer, I can move the mouse but cannot open anything on the
workstations. When I go to the workstations, I still cannot access anything
(the mouse moves). I have to reset the workstations. Anyone help?
