1) Certainly, just a slight change in the registry, and you won't see the
icon. Details on request (would include them, but haven't got info to hand)
2) Have had assurance that it runs on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and XP, *nix,
MacOS reliably once set up properly.
3) When connected to our NT4 server, it only use 1-3% processor load.

I've just downloaded VNC and want to compile it for the windows

1.. Is is possible to just have the server come up without any icons within
