Anti-aliased fonts with KDE, Mandrake 8.2

Hi,

I am using VNC in inetd mode (XDMCP) aith KDE/KDM and Mandrake 8.2. I
can't seem to get anti-aliased fonts to work, which seem to work fine
when using XFree86 as the X Server. Can anyone make any suggestions as
to how I could get it to work?
