Yes! When I launch vncviewer this way:

vncviewer -fullscreen remotehost

it works, I get a fullscreen window which works fine. In order to use other
workspaces of my X environment, I have, of course, to leave that mode: I use
F8 and click on "Full Screen" in order to deactivate it. This works, too!
What doesn't work is the way back: there is no way from normal to
fullscreen, the viewer will hang and that's it.

I'm wondering whether this could be related to my Linux graphics driver...
