VNC newbie question

As far as I know, this is what I am doing.  On the computer I want to view
(server), I do Run VNC (app mode) from the Start menu, and from the client
side, I run the VNC viewer.

No, I mean lock the screen, as in ctrl-alt-del, lock computer.
