problem with sending shift-<delete>

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand. How would I send
<shift>-<shift>-del? I'm just holding the shift key and hitting the Delete
key. So when I do that, it doesn't send <shift>-Del? How is that different
from my holding shift and then hitting the 'p' key, thus attempting to type
a capital P? Doesn't it send a capital P?

VNC viewer interprets <shift>-<whatever_key> as the key code to transmit
<whatever_key> to the vnc server - ie, sending <shift>-Cntrl-alt-del to a
Winvnc server should trigger the cntrl-alt-del response on the remote side.
Some keys do work normally, however.
You can try sending <shift>-<shift>-del and see if that works. Otherwise, I
have no suggestions...
