max # of connections to Xvnc ?

I run an Xvnc session under Solaris 2.7, and have noticed that I can
get a maximum of about 62 clients open before the X server begins refusing
connections.  I had thought this was related to the max. number of
open descriptors, which was 64, but I upped that number to 512 (and
verified that it is 512 in shells opened from within Xvnc), but
I still can't get more than about 62 clients connected to the X server.

Does anyone know what's going on?  Is there any way I can increase this 
number?
