W2k + Connection Closed

Hi all

I have a problem connecting to a WINVNC host running Windows 2000 Server
on an old IBM machine.

VNCViewer would allow a connection to the WINVNC host, but after
entering the password, gave the message "Connection Closed".

Perhaps is important, that I have not installed (because not exists) the 
video driver for the on-board video onto the remote machine.
(The only available video mode is 800x600x16)

What can I do? Is there a solution?
