Win2kPro and TightVNC-1.2.3/4 issue

Hi There,

I am having some problem connecting to a TightVNC-1.2.3 (or 1.2.4) on
Windows2000Pro with a WAN static IP. The Linksys router/firewall is configured
to let VNC traffic in on port 5900 and 5800.  The problem is I do not get to
connect all the time. "connection failed" or "connection has been rejected"
messages show up most of the time.  If I keep on trying after the "rejected
message" I know I will get the connection. But sometimes never during the same
day.  I tried different ports but result is the same.  The TightVNC-1.2.3 on
the other systems working ok.  Can anyone help me solve this problem.
