If you installed it as a service and you're running on a 9x box then the winvnc
program does not seem to be visible in the "close program" list (ctrl-alt-del),
however, it is running.  You get that message because it is already running.  You
may not get the icon in the system tray, which I haven't figured out yet, but it
is working.  I've used it lots of time in that mode.  Good luck,
