If anyone can expand on the folowing post with more detailed information,

In that case you'd need to forward ports 5800 and 5900, I think, using the
SSH client.  Then convince the Java client to connect to localhost.  I think
I've heard discussion of this before but I don't use the Java client so I've
never really paid attention.

MS IE + Java VNC --> SSH client ===================> SSH server --> VNC
