Fonts Problems

Dave,

If the server is running on unix, the vncserver script has a section that
allows you to set font paths.  You have to uncomment those statements
(this described in the unix build instructions).  You also have to make
sure that the default paths contained in the script actually exist on your
system.  In addition to the paths contained there, you can also append
paths that are normally used by your xwindows system i.e. when you
log onto the unix system without VNC.  On solaris, I can query those
paths using "xset -q".  I guess these paths are set by any X windows
startup scripts that run when I log in.  I also guess that they might not
be set if you log in via a method that doesn't use Xwindows e.g. if you
telnet into the the unix box.

I'm not sure if any of this applies to servers running on windows; I
imagine it also uses font paths of some sort.
