His some more info on a similar problem. Sorry I can't get you a log file,
time at the customers site is limited and I'm going to use the next window
to try TightVNC
Customers site:- 5 PCs P-P, 3 x W2KP/SP2, 2 x XP-P. Server service installed
all machines. Two of the W2K machines behave as follows:-
If [not the administrator] is logged in, a viewer connected shuts down after
a few seconds. No error message. Except that if you connect after boot with
no-one logged in, you can log on as a non-admin user and the connection
sticks. If you then shut down the viewer & re-connect, it disappears as
before.
All OK whenever the admin is logged in.
I am unable to reproduce this at my place.
