Actually why don't you check and make sure you have IP connectivity
first, trying pinging
from the laptop to the handheld device to see if you get a response
first. Make sure they
are on the same IP subnet (i.e. laptop = 192.168.1.1, hendheld
device =192.168.1.2)
I am using two Compaq IPAQ's running Win CE 3.0 and using VNC to
connect to all kinds of
platoforms (i.e. Solaris, Linux, Win2k, etc).
Works great ! .... I am also using Cisco Aironet products.

Subject: VNC with Cisco Aironet Hardware
Hello All!
I'm having difficulty with using the FeX21 WinCE 3.0 handheld device,
equiped with a Cisco Aironet 350 series Wireless LAN card - talking to a
Windows 2000 laptop - with the VNC software. I'm running the hardware in an
"ad hoc" mode. The handheld "sees" the laptop (via a visible share on the
laptop's drive) but thats it.
When I run the client program on the hand held.. all I get is a very fast
error msg flash that says...
Connection Error
Has anyone had a similiar saga out there ?
