Win2k headless and VNC

Hi,

I'm trying to set up Windows 2000 boxes with no video card and use VNC. Is
this possible? From what I understand, for VNC to work there needs to be a
video card in the system. I might be able to get away without using VNC,
but then I still have the problem of the OS not wanting to boot.

So far, I get everything installed and running, but when I remove the video
card Win2k will not boot anymore. I know it's not the BIOS/POST stopping it
because the system gives the beep before booting and the hard drive churns
for about a second. Also, the same system with Linux installed and no video
card works fine (although I don't have VNC on it).

Thanks,
Jason
