Actually, there was a spat of ZA+VNC postings
about 1.5 months ago. Someone found that the
latest ZA didn't have that problem, but I still
have the problem (WinME). I also get the
scripted response from ZA posted by David Colliver
(come to think of it, I might have bugged them more
than once, and the scripted reply was the most
detailed I ever got).
For now, I find it works to restart ZA after
starting up VNC (tightVNC in my case.. maybe
that's where the spat of postings happened).
I have to be sure to shut down ZA before completing
the VNC connection e.g. before providing the
password. Otherwise, that initial screen will
take a long time to load.
