Framebuffer update rectangle too large: 32x1152 at (533,504)

I don't understand why this keeps happening. I have installed both versions
3.3.3 and 3.3.6. When updating to 3.3.6 I even went through my registry and
removed anything I could find in there. (to do with vnc of course).

so my problem is:

using java (Internet Explorer) - can use the connection for about 15 - 30
seconds before I get the error "Framebuffer update rectangle too large:...."

using vncviewer - can use the connection for about 15 seconds before it just
shuts down. (same error I assume)


Please help me find the solution to this. I am running winvnc 3.3.6 (second
installation), win2k, PIII 850. I have found other people who have had the
same problem (on the internet), but have not found anyone that mentions the
solution.
