Sounds like you don't have a VNCserver running. If you are trying the
xinetd method of running the VNC server it looks like you might want to
check your config files. You should also be able to check /var/log/messages
and see if any errors are being logged.
I've never tried setting it up with that method so I can't help much with
that. Have you tried just running "vncserver" or using Xvnc and passing the
commands to it manually instead of using xinetd?
