Is Ultra VNC born?

Ultravnc is a new vnc clone. We used parts from all available at&t clones.
As core we used realvnc, because the developper tree is cleaner and functions
are better ordered.
Our goal is to make the win32server as fast as a unix vncserver. And add
some missing (windoz) stuff like filetransfer. Most options make no sense on
a unix platform. You don't need a video driver to get fast updates, and for
filetransfer you can use rcp, ftp.... So NO unix server is planned.
Compared to all other winvnc versions, the cpu stays very low (1/6 of normal load)
and the speed is 5x faster .
To optain the speed and low cpu we use ddi hooking on win9.x and a special
video hook driver on w2k and xp together with a new full optimized polling system.
-A unix viewer is planned after the win32<->win32 is running bugfree.
-The viewer is being changed to be compatible with real and tight supporting
the encoders of the 2 biggest vnc distributions.
