VNC Plugins

I was wondering why PC anywhere is faster than VNC and is it possible to
make VNC faster if so I would even consider paying something towards
VNC.
Which is the faster out of the VNC product
esVNC, TightVNC or WinVNC

And I could put my database authentication in as a plug in. I do need
some way to affect the password/login dialog box at startup.
