all of a sudden....

My office was running VNC, and it was working correctly, but then the
other day, it stopped working. We are connecting externally through a
firewall, and none of those worked, and then we tried connecting
internally, to see if it was a firewall issue, but we couldn't connect
internally, except at one computer. The way we have the computers
connecting is internally from Win2K to Win98, and Win98 to Win98 and Win
2K to Win2K. >From the outside, we are connecting From Win98 to Win2K,
WinXP to Win98 and Win98 to Win 98, all through a firewall. The only
connection that worked was Win2K to Win98, but the peculiar thing is that
we tried that same combination, using a different computer, and it didn't
work. My question is if anyone knows why this wouldn't work, or why it
suddenly stopped working, when last we, all connections worked. If anyone
has any idea, please let me know. Thank you.
