blocking this guy´s email

dear all,

 I think we all agree that this autorespond emails have been quite
annoying. I was quite shocked when this morning I got 160 e-mails, when
normally I got 20 e-mail daily and most of them were from this guy.
Since, at least in my case, this is my e-mail for working and I am
subscribed to this mailing list for working reasons, maybe I could be
warned to be getting so many e-mails.

 Anyway, what I am scared about is that I leave for one week before this
guy comes back (the 11th), so my e-mail could be blocked very easily in
a few days, and maybe blocking the delivery of very important e-mails.

 I do not know if there is a feature for temporaly unsubscriptions in
this mailing list, but could be interesting in case like these.

 I hope this e-mail does not sound very imperative, rather than a
suggestion (the latter is my intention).
