Mouse and Keyboard Stop Responding

I have seen this happen a few times on one of our clients' sites, I
think I've tracked the problem down to a sticky shift key. Not a
physical problem with the keyboard however, but if you select files on
the windows desktop for example it performs a multiple selection. It's
almost as though VNC transmits the 'SHIFT key down' signal, but not the
release.

Perhaps someone else can shed some light?

Cheers

Subject: Mouse and Keyboard Stop Responding

I am currently using VNC on a Win2K server, running as a service. The
problem I have been having is that the mouse click and keyboard input
seems
to be ignored.

Initially, the program works just fine, it just seems that over time, it
eventually stops responding to input. What is odd is, I can still
connect
and the mouse pointer will follow my input, just mouse clicks and
keyboard
input is ignored. I have tried connecting with the client and through a
browser and both yield the same result.

Has anyone seen this behavior before, and were you able to correct it ?

Thanks all,
Brian
