lucidasanatypewriter font problem

Hi,
I urgently need help to address a font related problem running a 
Unix application.

The application is a database viewer 
(/net/cds10749/usr1/lily/pub/wrouted.V.2.1.31.sun4v)(solaris 
2.7)

I work remotely, and are trying to run this application on a 
machine (lassen)(solaris 2.7)  using a VNC X-server. The problem 
appears to be that the application calls a font 
(lucidasanstypewriter-bold-14) which is already installed  under 
the /usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/f3bitmaps hierarchy.
