There is one major difference between winvnc (M$Windows based vnc) and Xvnc
(unix/X11 based vnc):
Winvnc copies the console display.
Xvnc gives a new, fresh display.
For Xvnc: if you want to use applications both local and remote, start them
in the Xvnc display and use vncviewer at both sides.
>From unix, you can force X11 applications in the Xvnc with the -display
option or by setting the $DISPLAY variable, just as with normal X11 display.
