yes the VNC Software is on a network share. Is this just a 2000
requirement? I need to load the software on the local desktop. No to
number 2. Thanks

Check the following.
1. Is your vnc software on the network drive ?
A service cannot be on the network drive so you got to put in your local
drive.
2. Did you install the vnc and moved the executable or rename the drive ?
In which case you have to run(from the directory where winvnc.exe exitst)
winvnc -remove
winvnc -install
again

I have been trying to get VNC to work on my Window 2000 stations. I can get
it loaded but it will not run as a service. I get the following message
The VNCserver service failed to start due to following error, they system
cannot find the path. All my 98 machines work great. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
