VNC on VMS

I cannot recal if there is a port. I have seen VMS displays on a vncviewer
with the next construction:
Desktop machine with whatever OS to run vncviewer, unix (linux) machine to
run `vncserver -query <vmshost>`. This gives a vms login session (decsession
?) at the vms machine.
I cannot reproduce the above setup, the machine did not survive Y2K. I only
recall that the vms machine needs to have tcp/ip configured an that it
works.
