 A couple of questions:

> 1. Which PC has DNS2GO and VNC server running? Home or Work?
- work pc has DNS2GO and VNC server running. i am trying to use home pc to connect to work pc

> 2. Does the PC running DNS2GO and VNC server have a direct connection to the
> internet or does it have to go through a gateway PC/Firewall?
- It has to go through a internet router cum modem, i am using a aztech dsl turbo 900 broadband router/modem. i have enavled NAT to port 5800 to point to my work pc.

> 3. If gateway PC? What type of software is doing the sharing? and do you
> have access to make changes?
- not gateway pc.

> 4. Do you have a firewall at work and are ports 5800 and 5900 open?
 - i don't have a firewall at work, do you mean the port in my router or pc?
when using LAN to access work pc, yes it works perfect. my router there's only a function to route port 5800 to work pc ip address.

> Your main problem at the moment seems to be understanding the network
