This is probably a case where the documentation isn't necessarily very
clear. AuthRequired causes WinVNC to *allow* an empty password. It doesn't
stop WinVNC from requesting a password. To do that, you must clear the
password in the Properties dialog. By default, with AuthRequired set to 1,
WinVNC will not allow an empty password, since it could prove a dangerous
security hole for novice users.
So, set AuthRequired=0 AND clear the password!
