If regedit doesn't cut it then use regedt32.exe

If you do not have access to the policy editor, you can edit your
registry.
Run regedit.exe
Find the following key:
My
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ru
n
Find the entry for WinVNC and delete it

Hi Dave,
I still have to find out how to tweak the policies.
May I ask how do I prevent the command like "WinVNC.exe -servicehelper"
from executing?
Regards.

WinVNC Service Helper does not have to run for WinVNC to run.
To stop it from running, use poledit.exe and remove it from the list of
programs to run at start up.

Would someone share the know-how on how to disable the "Service Helper"
from
appearing in the System Tray?
Thanks.
