problem with the properties

I have to install winvnc on a network and i dont whant users to be able to configure the settings. So on a winvnc server I did add the allowproperties line in the registry with the 0 value.

the problem: when i do this i cannot acces the computer via a winvnc viewer .  it's like the password authetification fail. 

if i switch back the allowproperties to the 1 value then i can connect.
