Java VNC Client and x0rfbserver problems

Hello Ladies and Gentleman

I am running a x0rfbserver on a Lynx 2.3 machine and connecting to with
the Java VNC client.  The client works for a while and then crashes
everytime it is run 10 to 30 minutes after it has started with the error

"Unknown RFB message type -1"

Has anyone experienced this problem when using the Java VNC Client and
x0rfbserver combination before and worked out how to fix it?
Any ideas anyone about how to fix this?
