When I try to run an application on an hp-ux machine, through the VNC viewer
on an windows 2000, I get the following error message:
"Atom SERVER_OVERLAY_VISUALS missing!
Looking for overlay using colormap method
SetupForDisplay: No overlay planes detected!
Killed"
Indeed, the application uses a lot of graphics, drawing and so on.
Is it still possible to use VNC viewer in this case?
The hp default visual is: Overlay(w/ Transparency), depth 8, PseudoColor
I started the server with vncserver -cc3
Otherwise VNC server and viewer work fine.
Thanks
Matei
