talking about win9x at this stage, and win2k eventually... basically the
batch copies files, imports a registry file and does a winvnc.exe -install
(to install as a service). this is what comes up with the little msgbox
saying 'VNC has been sucessfully installed.' and an OK button. basically
the same as if you we're to go into the program files/vnc/administrive
tools/install service link if you installed normally.
we've tried a > nul to get it to keep quiet about it but no go... at the
moment we're trying to get the registry entries and do it manually... i
think there must be two places that it puts in the registry. got one but it
now only works after you login which is useless. it's in RunServices....
probably cos we've only got it as Local user and need All Users or something
(registry trees i'm talking.)

Hey all,
I have almost got this VNC installing over a network right. The only thing
is that when you run the batch file it comes up with a window message
saying:
'VNC has been successfully installed, blah blah blah'
Is there anyway of making it so this does not appear?
Thanks
Jared
